When grief feels overwhelming, even small tasks can seem impossible. But every small step helps you regain a sense of control. This week, we’re focusing on taking just one step—whatever feels right for you.
It might be something like:
- Monitoring an email account you’ve been avoiding.
- Cleaning out a single drawer that feels emotionally heavy.
- Paying one bill or handling a piece of unfinished paperwork.
- Taking time to process your emotions without feeling the need to “get things done.”
Whatever step you choose, give yourself credit. It’s not about how much you do, but about showing up for yourself in small, manageable ways. And if it feels like too much today, that’s okay—there’s space for rest, too.
On Friday, we’ll check in and take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the work we’ve done.
You’re doing the best you can, and that’s enough.
With care,
Julie
